CompuSport's new Player App asks you to merge your players when you sign in for the first time.

The system recognizes names that are similar to yours and wants to know if that is you.

Like Mike and Michael, Robert, Dick and Harry!!!!

In order to give you a better personalized experience, it is important to take your time and choose the right players. You don't want a player that is not you, and the other player wants his information.

The Importance of Merging your players

WHY ???

Merging the proper players:

will personalize your experience by making your events readily available to you.
if using the scorekeeping feature, this will give you the right access automatically.
will produce a better CompuSport rating. (New feature coming soon)
will give better stats results.
will create better comparison graphs. (Premium Feature)
will send the right notifications to the right person.
and much much more.

Every once in a while... you will receive a notification asking to merge a new player added.

That means your name was added to a new tournament or new league. The system wants to pick that up as well for you. This will make is a lot easier for you to have your information ready.

This will merge you to that player right away, which means you will receive information as soon as it's available: Bracket is up live. Schedule is available etc.

Take the time to do it. It will just make your life that much easier.

How do I go back and make sure it's all good?"

Easy!!!

Log into the App,

Click the Menu (Top right corner),

Click on Events,

Look over your list. And if you have any events missing, search for them in the Unidentified Events.

Leagues and tournaments going to the next level!

Scorekeeping directly on the New App The CompuSport system offers a Scorekeeping Feature that can be used for Leagues and Tournaments. This has been used for a few years now, but it's never been made easier then with the new app that was released in September. When a league manager or tournament director turns on the scorekeeping feature, it allows players to fill out scoresheets directly from their phones. Leagues League scoresheets are usually more detailed with all the games played, points etc. But basically personalized to each league. Once it is filled out it is sent for approval to the opposing team. The team checks it over and either Accepts or Rejects the scoresheet. Once accepted it updates the stats automatically. Results the same night you play, imagine that!!! Tournaments Tournaments also use this feature to advance the bracket. Perfect tool for remote tournaments or tournaments who want to go paperless . New Feature : Embed Statistics in your website

Embed-able Statistics You can now include your league or round-robin statistics into your website, blog or app. It is always up to date, no need to upload a new pdf every week anymore! Here is an example : You can embed the stats for a pre-defined stats group, or you can include the drop-down so the user can select any stat group. To embed your stats, go to Statistics Teams or Statistics Players and click on "Embed to your website". Then copy the html into your website and you should be good to go! To embed a single stat group, select it before clicking on "Embed to your website"! Embed-able Brackets and Round-Robins We added this feature a while ago, but here is a reminder that you can also embed a bracket or a round-robin into your website. To embed your bracket or round-robin, go to Charts (Brackets/RRB), select the division and bracket you want to embed and click on "Embed to your website". Then copy the html into your web

New features and upgrades, just in time for Christmas! For our last release of the year, we brought so many cool changes our mobile app that it feels like Christmas already!
