The Newsfeed Update

We’ve been working for several weeks to improve the event home page. We are proud to announce that the new version of the homepage will be available as of Tuesday, December 10th.

Promote, communicate and share easily

The home page is the center-point of an event. It is where admins can share content with the members of an event.

With the updated version of the home page, it has never been easier to communicate with players.

The home page is now faster, easier to use and offers more options than before.
If you want good communication with your players, you’ll love this update.

Introducing the newsfeed

The biggest change on the event home page is that admins can now publish posts which will be displayed in a newsfeed available to everyone who checks out this event.

This means that you can easily:
  • Promote your event by attaching posters and flyers
  • Share pictures of your players during an event
  • Pin your player of the week or your leader board for everyone to see it
  • Warn players about a last-minute change
And much more!

Creating a post is quick and simple. Just click on the "Create a post" button, write it, publish it and that's it!

The newsfeed is available for all members of an event. The players can see posts, but only the admins can post them.

For more information about how to publish a post, check out our article All about the newsfeed on our support center.

Include pictures and files to your posts

You can include an unlimited amount of pictures and files in a post.

Want to share 20 pictures of your tournament all at once? No problem.

How about sharing the schedules for the next 8 weeks? Go for it.

If there's too much content in a post (images, files or text), it will be minimized and a button "see more" will let you expend the post. This way, you don't have to worry about taking up the whole space available with a single post.

Advertising in the newsfeed

The newsfeed allows you to advertise freely on the home page.

Your advertisements are mixed smoothly in the newsfeed with all the other posts.
